Once the installation is complete, your computer will reboot. Next, follow the instructions to install it. Depending on the graphics card, you may be prompted to select the driver from a folder. You can manually install Intel Graphics drivers in Windows 10 by selecting the appropriate driver from the list and double-clicking it. If you still can’t install your Intel graphics driver, you can contact Intel Support for further assistance. Once you’ve checked the driver, try running the Troubleshooting Wizard to fix the problem. It may be named differently than the original. Look for the Intel graphics driver and verify that it’s the right version. With all that said, if you find that an older driver is more stable than a newer one, then you should block the driver update using the "Show or hide updates" tool.To install your Intel graphics driver, first open the Device Manager and go to Display Adapters. Why the Driver Update Utility is trying to give you different drivers, I can't say, maybe it has to do with your CPU model (knowing it would help), but I've found the Update Utility to be generally quite poor at finding the best/most up to date drivers for just about anything and I'd avoid using it in most cases. The drivers which the Driver Update Utility is trying to install for you are older still, showing 29 July 2015. and have date, so they are actually an older version than the drivers that Windows is updating to, which as you said are shown as version 20. drivers install in Windows they are called Driver Version 20. Problem is that even though they are listed as having a date of here, when the 15.40. As you can see here, the 4600 is not listed as compatible with those drivers, but it is listed as compatible with these latest drivers for 4th Gen, which are called version 15.40. drivers are not for your graphics processor (unless you somehow have 4600 on an old processor, which I don't think is possible but who knows? Do you know exactly what CPU model you have?).
If you definitely have the HD Graphics 4600, then I think the 15.33. I have a PC with the HD Graphics 4600 so I know the pain. Either because the Driver Update Utility is messing up, or because they've made their chip names and driver version numbers so convoluted that no one can work out what's going on (or both). I think the issue is 100% on Intel's side on this. Apologies for the long post here, but bear with me!
